I’m planning a black friday build.

A prebuilt hp pavilion with a ryzen 3 2200G processor

Rx 550 gpu

300 watt power supply.

If i upgrade the gpu to an Rx 580 and the power supply to 450 watts will I need to upgrade the processor as well??

You might experience a little bottleneck, but it shouldn’t be too noticeable.

what’s your total budget for this build?

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

Always keep a budget in mind. Just because you have your eye on a store bough new build doesn't mean that something better won't come along. I got a 4770k, 32gb ram, 256gb Evo, 780ti, 850w gold computer for $100 off craigslist earlier this year. Hell of a lot cheaper and faster than even just a 2200g.

$780 US

Why not aim for an i5/older i7 and at least a 1060? I think you can get a decent older CPU/RAM/MOBO combo for $250 and leave you $500 for the GPU/SSD/PSU and case.

That would be very nice. Can you lead me to a direct source?

That, get that if you want new and kick ass. Older parts can yield some better performance but you're really at the mercy of Lady Luck and whatever ends up in your lap.

Make sure you quote people or use @Excelsior!So that people see your responses

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
