I cannot tell your specs from it, could you please put it in pcpartpicker picker? But even if you don't, I can almost guarantee it's the GPU, because I did see x470, so I assume you must have a good overall system.

I have an i5 8600 and 1070ti, so my cpu has fairly similar gaming performance and a gpu upgrade is definitely possible maybe a 2070 or 1080/1070ti if you want to spend less

Alrighty, I'm thinking about putting either a 2060 or a 2070 in.

I mean, the 2070 is slightly faster than the Vega 64, but used, you can find one for a lot cheaper than the 2070.

upgrade to Ryzen 3?

Why would you downgrade?

Anyways,  maybe wait until July to upgrade anything, as new GPUs from Nvidia and AMD are coming out, plus if you really feel a CPU upgrade is necessary that would be a good time for that too.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

Ah ok, makes sense. Your board should handle a significant upgrade. Just maybe not the 3950x. ?

Grab an SSD as well.  Are you running XMP on that RAM too?

I would have thought a 1060 6GB would be able to do 1080p60 in Destiny 2, as optimized as it is.

I'm not sure what xmp is, and yeah, ever since forsaken, fps will dip to 30 in action heavy scenes.

XMP profiles are profiles in the bios set by the RAM manufacturer to change timings and speed.

Who built your computer?   If you, and you don't know what XMP is... you didn't set it.  It's a BIOS setting that overclocks your RAM to the stated speed.

@Boinbo, if you can help him set that in his BIOS, I bet that would bring his FPS up enough to not need to buy a new GPU.

It's under M.I.T Settings.

Go into Advanced Frequency Settings.

Then Extreme Memory Profile.

Should just click Profile 1, and it'll show 3200Mhz.
