Yea, I see no reason why it wouldn't be compatible.

I don't see any reason why an Xbox One controller wouldn't be compatible with an "Xbox Two" (is Scarlett Xbox Two??), just for the sake of backwards compatibility.

That is something I can commend Nintendo and Sony on sometimes. PS1 and PS2 controllers were backwards and forwards compatible, PS3 controllers could work on a PS4 with a wire (or was it PS4 controllers can work on PS3 with a wire???).

And Nintendo has made it so GameCube controllers work on Wii models (not the newest ones) and even Wii U Smash, but also Switch many games.

This way around.

I believe it will be compatible, if anything it should be a great PC gamepad.

That would make more sense anyways, since the PS4 controllers has more buttons.

That is basically the only reason not to include backwards compatibility; when your new controllers have features the old ones don't have (like from PS2 to 3, we got analog R2/L2, Wii controllers are motion controllers, the PS4 added that touch input).

I personally don't see Microsoft adding a lot of features extra to a new controller that would make the Xbox One controllers useless.

The only thing I can think of is a small screen in the controller. But even then, there would be no reason not to allow Xbox One controllers to work (other than business decisions, but I am not talking about those).

The controller will work on both Xbox One and PC and Series 2 program manager at Microsoft, Allan Carranza, confirmed the controller will also be compatible with Xbox Scarlett. Cool!

Xbox 360 controllers don't work with the Xbox one, I have these really nice Razer controllers that I was bummed wouldn't work out.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I suspect that was more of a business idea, rather than full on incompatibility.

I mean, it's not like there are any buttons missing..
