Any suggestions on a decent TV + Audio setup?

Hiya guys,

 

So I'll be moving out soon and I don't want to go through the hassle of taking down the TV/speakers I have mounted to my walls (also because i may have lost the stand). I'd like to think of it as a welcoming gift to my family to whoever moves into this room. With a budget of around £1000-£1500, what setup would you recommend?

 

At most, the TV can be 65" due to space constraints. I've been going through plenty of review and comparison sites, but everyone seems to have thier own take on it. I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to this stuff so any advice would be appreciated. This will mainly be used for watching movies and the occasional couch gaming on the PS$/Switch.

Currently, my picks are the LG OLED55C8PLA 55" and the Samsung Sound+ HW-MS650. If there's any alternatives you would recommend, I'll be sure to look into them.

Are you a movie buff? The C9 has a better color volume and better processor than the B series OLED.

Not necessarily (I do have quite a number of blu rays though). But it doesn't seem that much more for a pretty good jump in quality.

It's not. It's a couple hundred I believe. If you have the ability around you I would go take a peek at the difference in color.
