is ASUS VG279Q 27" good for gaming?

Hello,

 

i want to update my display, i currently have lg 29uc88 29' ultrawide, which is great monitor but limited to 75 refresh rate and may PC can push more frame easily.

 

in my country a sale is currently on the ASUS VG279Q 27", im not very competitive FPS gamer, i casually play BO4, R6S.

 

the most important feature i want is the IPS technology combimed with 144hz, if it comes with 3ms g2g like the asus then even better.

 

but being 27 inch on a FHD resolution would that affect graphics quality? i dont care about pixelated edges when surfing the net. i care more about gaming graphics and colors.
