Choosing an 1440p 144hz monitor

Nedrozak

Hello! I am looking for a monitor with an 1440p resolution and 144hz.
I looked around, read some reviews and I have narrowed it to a few models:
AOC AG273QCX VA 1ms 144hz
AOC AG271QX TN 1ms 144hz
Dell S2719DGF TN 1ms 155hz
If you can recommend me something else, feel free to do so!

Well?, it is gonna be hard, but I like to think that a monitor is a long-term buy. The GPU is gonna be upgraded someday. And about the UW, I don't have the room on my desk.

I agree that the monitor is a longer term buy, not exactly a long term buy.  Balance is key.  You may get tired of 1440p in that 27" size in a few years.  But if you upgrade the GPU too late, you don't get the benefit for long of enjoying a balanced system.

How long til you upgrade the GPU?

I just upgraded to dual Dell S2716DG's and I can't recommend them enough. From what I have read the S2719DGF is very similar to them so I think you would be happy with it.

Yes, I get what you are trying to say. Balance is key but there must be sacrifices. I have had a very cheap AOC 21in 1080p monitor for >6 years and I am sure that the new one is not gonna bore me for a long time. New GPU maybe next year.

Cool, just making sure you thought it thru.  Never hurts to ask.

That said, I like the AOC VA panels personally.  Don't know the Dell at all, sorry.
