Sell Macbook for LG Gram (or similar)

Recommended Posts

I currently have a Macbook Pro 2018 15" (i7 8750H). I'm wondering if it'd be a better option to sell the Macbook and buy a LG Gram or something similar instead? I'm taking computer science at university next year and I feel that maybe a windows machine might be a better option. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

You can still run windows on the macbook through bootcamp or other methods, no need for changing your laptop.

I wouldn't bother unless you're unhappy with the macbook.

Parallels (or other VM software) gives you options to have virtual machines for Windows or Linux as needed.  Mac OS is a UNIX flavor, so you have a nice BASH shell already, most development and teaching languages are crossplatform.
