Windows making coin drop sound at random

Gautam.Dey

So my PC was turned off for the past 3 weeks as my ups was away for repairs.

So I just got it and after turning on my PC I've been hearing random coin drop sound in the background. I've looked at everything but I couldn't make out what exactly is making that noise.

If anyone can help me out here.

Thanks.

Everything looks fine. No unknown app is running. Can't say about "Windows Processes" though they all looks important to me.

Now looking through all the extensions.

There are a lot of it. I've no idea of these and how they got here. Gonna uninstall which are unnecessary.

Let's see what comes up.

Got it. It was a chrome extension. Removed it and restarted now everything's fine.
