Rosewill Case Fans Help

CJtheVJ

Hi, I just bought a Rosewill Prism S500 case on Newegg while it was on sale. It came with 4 fans and an RGB controller. The RGB controller has a cable that is supposed to plug into your motherboard, and my motherbaord, (MSI B350 Gaming Plus) said it had a port for that, but they ended up being different. (Pictures below) Is there anyway I can get an adapter or control these fans so I can change speed, color, etc?

This is what I thought the cable would look like.

But the cable ended up looking like this

Is there anyway to make that into a 4 prong so I can connect it to my motherboard? Or anyway to control the fans?

No, that is a 3-pin addressable header. The speed of the fans isn't controlled by that anyways. If you want to be able to use the RGB you'd have to get a board with the header. The cheapest one I can think of is the Asrock B450 Pro4 or B450 Steel Legend.

Motherboard or fan pack should have adapter if they are meant to be compatible.
