Im a little afraid to fry my hardware so please check if there is a glaring problem that can cause any short circuit

Everything looks okay to me, it's pretty hard to fry a board by mixing the front panel header. Switch polarity doesn't matter, and the LED's just won't come on if you don't have them plugged in the right way.
