Thermaltake RGB app bogging down bandwidth??

Alright, so I've been using RGB pluss fans in my case for a little over a year now, give or take.  Recently the app upgraded to 64 bit, which I thought was pretty neat.  Deleted the old software, installed the new fromt he site.... And now everytime I launch the app, or have it running, it just bogs down my bandwidth, I normally have 300 down, 100 up.  Running the app, drops it down to 10 down, 100 up still, but even though the speed tests give me "10" down, if I try to goggle anything including the word google, the page literally takes 10 minutes or longer to load.  Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix?
