So basically i want a cheap and fast option to benchmark pc's quickly, and was wondering if i got this Samsung USB, loaded a small steam library, unigine heaven, cinebench and things like that to transfer ontu the pc so i have a wide range of benchmarks in my pocket, is this a good option or is there anything better for cheaper ???

This is the usb i was gonna get --- https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07CVCSTFT/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_7?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

what about micro sd card with usb 3.0  card reader, for more flexibility

imo its already fast enough to run games on sd card itself

Have you though about adding PCMark to the benchmark collection?

Also the Kingston DT50/128GB is a good alternative.

The SSD comes with a USB 3.0 cable. Still bottlenecked but not as much.

There a bit more expensive than i would like --- https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Extreme-SDXC-Memory-Class/dp/B07H9VX76D/ref=sr_1_3?crid=WVKXGK24ZSGG&keywords=256gb+sd+card&qid=1560926372&s=gateway&sprefix=256gb+sd%2Caps%2C161&sr=8-3

What i meant by a small steam library was a few games, but big ones like rust, fortnite, gta5, ect It needs to be 240gb or above

Linus just has everything already set up on an SSD. Shouldn't be too expensive.

I have the biggest hankering to change my PC to ITX. But I know it's just not worth 250$... Sigh :(

Edit: it's 375$ now and I'm going to do it.

Yeah but if im fixing old comps and i dont really want to cross my fingers, take it apart and hope that it has a free sata port, and i have experienced HUGE bottle-necks using a sata to usb cable
