How good is gtx 970 in sli platform and that too converting mining motherboard to gaming

How good is gtx 970 in sli platform and that too converting mining motherboard to gaming.

First question can i run sli on mining board using 1x as 8x or 16x using connectors.

Second how successful will it be when running the same with dual gtx 970.

Reason: i am from india. Technology here is beyond comparable in terms of pricing. Everything is as expensive as buying a diamond. Hence was asking for a rather cheaper alternatives.

Special mention: @linus. I love your vidoes man. Its very interesting to know about the possibilities and limitations that you describe about processor, graphics cards, rams and all the other equipments.

1. just check if the motherboards supports SLI. It will either state that on the product page or not, since motherboard have to be SLI certified to work with SLI (plus you also need an SLI bridge).

2. SLI 970 performance is around single 980 Ti performance in properly supported games, but that will differ from game to game. It might be worth it to sell both 970's and get a 980 Ti for the guaranteed performance.

You can't combine PCIe slots to make larger buses unfortunately, an x1 slot will remain x1.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
