Non-K Overclock Option on Asrock Z77 Performance

Hey All,

I've recently upgraded a few components in my PC and have noticed that I have a "Non-K" option in the bios of my motherboard (ASRock Z77 Fatality Performance). I have just upgraded from an i5-2500 to an i7-3770 (both non-k).

Just wondering if anyone would be able to explain simply how this non-k overclock feature works and whether I should be messing around with it at all in the first place.

Cheers.

It's not exactly a new board, but as I recall it lets you do bCLK overclocking, but still not multiplier changes, which was pretty effective actually.
