Well independent reviews are still a bit off, but if these chips hit the numbers they are suspected to with the IPC improvements we have been told... then even at those prices they are a steal. 12 cores for the price of 8?

The hardest decision for me is should I pull the trigger on the 12 core or wait another quarter for the 16 core.

Them again the nee leaks on the 10nm intel chips are pretty interesting. I am expecting intel to try and rush out a competitor and maybe for a more competitive price. They haven't been pushed this hard in almost a decade.

3900x is 499 USD ex tax

499 dollar is 445.20 Euro

which is 538,69  Euro incl tax  ( 21%-tarief (sinds 1 oktober 2012)  )

Difference is 88,31 euro

Go without 2 weekends of beer or order from Germany and you're fine to buy in August.

Sadly I am in the same boat, no option to save money by not going out.

As for the what they posted, as I mentioned the price received an increase of 88,31 euro that is not due to tax or euro conversion.

After reading that Komplett.dk is also overcharging I start to worry a bit about the German prices.  While both companies aren't the cheapest it's a big difference to what the prices should be. We'll see and fingers crossed :S

I can recommend looking at Alternate.de they normally have really good german prices.
Komplett.dk overcharges sometimes by a lot. I've seen my current motherboard on their site for 180euros while i purchased

it from a smaller Danish vendor for 80 euros. So i wouldnt believe the prices from Komplett

Thanks,

Personally I always check prices with https://geizhals.de/

It's a pricewatch site for a couple of countries combined.

Hope it helps some people with getting the best price

Thanks i will try that website! :D
Also i really doubt MSI Meg and Aorus Xtreme is going for 900+ Euros since its Intel counter parts is more around the 500 mark. I think it will be abit higher not 400 euros higher but maybe  100 more.
