Hey I wanted to know what quad cpu or high with 4 ghz at least is compatible with my Asus z170 sabertooth mk1 motherboard?

6600k 6700k 7600k 7700k

 

none of them I really want to buy atm but these 4 are the only options

Zen 2 just along the corner (7/7).

 

quad cores won’t be keeping up in a year anymore I think (not as they do today)

4c/4t are allready sort of dying. 

 

Frametime stuttering is becomming quite bad on them in some titles.

Well I just picked my words carefully. They are kinda shite compared to today’s 6/8 etc.

Think the next step for gaming will be 6/12 8/16 and so on (imo)
