Hi, I am new to PC Gaming and I and soon building a pc with the following specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

GPU: MSI VGA RX 580 8g OC

Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk

These are the main specs of the computer and I need help with choosing a monitor, I want a 144hz gaming monitor with a decent response time ( around 2ms)

that also has AMD FreeSync capabilities. Also, i heard that the type of plug the monitor is plugged into the GPU have different refresh rates, for example, i heard DVI ports can handle the full 144hz at 1080p gaming, is this true? And if not, what plug is best for 144 hz at 1080p gaming? My budget for this monitor is around $225, preferably around $200. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: I would also prefer a gaming monitor that is reliable, i have read reviews on certain monitors where people have opened them and there has been dead pixels/ other damage. So i am looking for a monitor with the specs listed above and that wont break within weeks. A monitor that has decent reviews maybe? Anyways, any advice, suggestions, comments and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

2 Dell monitors with Free sync and 144hz at 1080P both in your price range. Use can use display port or hdmi. If you get these from Amazon the return policy should be good and you can just return it if you don't like it. Don't have to worry about getting Dead pixels.
