Good gaming router

Hi im Looking for a good gaming router Under 100 euro’s i saw the Netgear R6400 is this a good one or is there a better one or should i spend more money on this

And is it possible to connect like a small nas or something to the USB port and toen access it drom my pc phone iPad etc

Gaming routers are kind of a joke for anything more than better GUI software support.

 

And most routers allow the NAS feature, yes.

Yeah it doesn’t exactly a gaming router just one i van USe to game on with high speeds

Netgear Nighthawk routers get my vote, like the one featured in the latest LTT video.

 

I had one, died to my own negligence (power surge fried it. Wasn't on a surge protector). I loved it and miss it to this day.

Yeah i saw the video but its really expensive is that worth all the money/is there a better budget optionOption

Netgear routers are 100% worth their price. My folks just bought a high end Netgear for their main modem, and I miss my router every day. I'm sure they've only gotten better.

SO which Netgear one is not too expensive and gas good peformance/feautures

You don't need an expensive router just to get low latencies and large throughput.
Almost anything works just fine with a wired connection. Just make sure it has at least a couple of 1GBit ports.

 

If you're looking for something that provides a good wireless connection, then you should simply look into reviews and make sure you get one that supports at least 802.11 ac.

 

I use a cheap router provided by my ISP and made by AVM, which works just fine. I don't have any issues with my FTTC 100Mbit connection and the Wi-Fi is good enough.
