Worth it? (Gonna play games at low-medium settings)

nope. this laptop will actually play some games at high settings just that you're better of with something from Lenovo or prehaps some TongFang based laptop. Why? FX laptops from Asus quality is questionable and the thermal solution limits performance.

I don't want to repeat again all the issues with FX505, but I'll advise you to get a better model unless your budget is really tight

Budget is tight also a review stated it has bettter thermals than a nitro 5 with the same specs(I guess CPU was intel). And nitro is way costlier

I would reccomend you go for the sku with the ryzen 7 3750H or if you are interseted in somethin gelse from asus check their zephyrus G - https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-Zephyrus-G-GA502/
