You see? You have three answers, all completely different. ;)

Just a quick question,

I have a MSI X470 Gaming Pro board, should I use the chipset drivers from the MSI website or should I get the drivers for the X470 from AMD site?

Now it will be the same. After some time manufacturer stops update drivers on old motherboards and then, if you want new ones, you should download from AMD.

Get the latest version from AMD's website.

MSI may forget to update the downloads page from your particular motherboard, or may only check if new drivers are posted once a month, you don't know for sure. The ones on AMD website are almost always the latest.

Exceptions are for some laptops, where the manufacturers may have custom bioses programmed into video cards or some features that must be enabled through customized drivers available only on manufacturer's website.

Get the latest drivers from the manufacturer.

Up to the lifetime of it, the brand won't update it, so better get it from the source.

They are about same. Mobos own are tested on that particular hardware to ensure compatibility, but that's all. Same thing applies to GPU drivers.

For me, I check the mobo motherboard's website first.  Once they stop offering updates, then you have to fall back on AMD.  My reason, is the mobo manufacturer tests the drivers before offering them for that specific board.
