The phone is waterproof, why would you care if there is a leak near your "sensitive electronics"...

 

Also there are many different types of pumps, bigger is not always better.

A small diaphragm pump with 2-4mm outlets would have much higher flow rate than that D5, and you could make the entire loop using 4mm tubing.

It costs less than $20 and has about 10x more head pressure than a D5, which is why the flow rate using a tiny pump like this is so much higher.

My iPhone overheats in my garage when it's 100F+ ambient and I'm trying to use facetime.  So I could see some sort of passive heatsink being a cool thing, but an active watercooling loop seems overelaborate.

Could a manufacturer put a plate and tubing in the phone actually against the SOCs and have 3mm-ish holes in the phone(like headphone jacks), but with threads for barbs so you can attach a loop easily?
