Advice about front radiator EK PE or XE

I'm building my first loop over weekend. I've all parts but I would like advice what to use for the front radiator. For case I'm using Phanteks Eclipse P600S and on top I'll use EK PE 360. But on front I can use either EK PE 360 or EK XE360, I've both and I'll return one which I do not end up using. For front also I'll have room to do push pull with fans. In loop I'll have 9900k and RTX2070. My question is which rad I should use at the front. If XE will not preform much better than PE, should I use PE as it will take less space? Also what would you recommend for top rad, to be intake or exhaust? I'm thinking to make it intake as it will have much cooler air than as exhaust? Thanks

I dont think they perform drastically different from each other. 

 

I'd say it mostly depends on the price, the amount of space available and the Hardware you use. If it's high end hardware and you will also overclock it, take the thicker rad. If not you might aswell safe a few bucks unless the difference is so small that it doesnt matter. 

 

Keep in mind a thinner Radiator is easier to work with aswell.

I have 3x 480 XE rads from EK on Revo D5 pump. Works like a charm. 2x GPUs and 1x CPU.

 

GPU temps: 1st 40C 2nd 46C max.

I'd go as thicc as you can

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Price difference is so small and not important. And both CPU and VGA will be OC as that was idea to go with custom loop.

What about top rad, should I setup as intake or exhaust?

Being a front rad I’d go with the lowest fpi I could. 

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

XE with P/P will cool very nicely. At one point I had a 360 with ML120's in p/p cooling an OC'd 3770K and OC'd 1080ti and my GPU temps stayed in the 30's with fans running about 1200 RPM.

I’d assume you still want some kind of airflow in the case. Putting a crap rad in the front as intake would severely limit that.
