if i get a vpn im on a router connected to my moms network if i get private internet access  will i still be seen or do i have complexly separate ip from the network?

Also we got a dcma notice so i wanna be protected what should i do? edit i have my  wireless router on the network for my pc and phone.

You can still be seen on the local network, your device will still appear as a normal device on the network..

 

If you run a vpn correctly, dmca won't be a issue.
