Help with Canon t7i

I want to use my External 5 inch Monitor and the built-in camera screen for recording (i can view the big screen but use the camera screen for touch

 

 

Anyone know how to do it?

You can definitely use a external monitor on a Rebel T7i; see the manual:

Make sure WiFi is disabled first before you do anything.

 

You won't be able to use the touch screen on the camera though; you'll need a monitor with a touch screen, such as a Atomos Ninja Inferno.

i have seen in some videos they have both screens on? how do i do that?

Only certain cameras support that, and the Rebel T7i isn't one of them. In fact, I can't recall any of Canon's camera lineup being able to use the LCD screen while an external monitor is hooked up.
