We want something that will work amazing and look amazing like these: Radeon Pro WX 7100 100-505826 8GB 256-bit GDDR5 Workstation Video Card. We've moved the tower out from the rack and are putting it on the wall now. The only thing that is unfortunate is that there isn't an amazing looking LGA 3647 motherboard out that will work with that many video cards. EVGA is coming out with the SR-3, but who knows when that will out?????? Any suggestions are appreciated though. Thank you all!

The SR-2 was a mess and rather buggy. I had one. and they would not fix the problems.So be carfull with getting a SR-3.

EVGA boards in general tend to fail and have buggy problems. The don't even make their own boards last time I looked. I would look into getting a ASUS board if you want dual CPU's. like the ASUS WS C621E

Dual CPUs are unnecessary for what we're doing. Could we run a single CPU on a dual CPU board?

You can, I thought that if you wanted a sr board that it would be a dual CPU setup. My bad.

The Dominus Extreme only has 4 PCIE slots. Trust me I wanted it haha.

18 Projectors would mean that 4 of the 5 cards would need to have 4 outputs and one would need 2.

I'm sure you can do this without 5 PCIE slots. Many cards have 4 outputs or more.

What about the NVS 810 ? it has 8 outputs. But it s a little old.

Radeon Pro WX 7100 100-505826 8GB 256-bit GDDR5 Workstation Video Card This card is really high end and what we ended up specing for it. That card had 4 outputs and we need one extra for our testing monitor. That would give us 1 extra slot.

1 year older then the AMD card and that AMD card is from 2016. To me it looks better ten the AMD card.

But good luck finding a board that has 5 16c pcie slots, even if you find one there is a good chance one or two slots max out at 8x. So that gig board i posted would likely be your best bet.

That is unless if you use say, x299 or thread ripper.

When working at the bleeding edge, sexiy is what works not what looks "good".

 

At the design stage "probably" can be tested rather than guessed at.
