Ryzen 7 2700x and ram

Recommended Posts

I've read about how ram makes a difference to ryzen performance, but it doesn't seem to be much to me even though 16gb of bdie ram is around double the price of say vengeance lpx, is it worth it? Or should I get 32gb of ram instead?

You need fast ram not a lot of ram. Get a 16gb 3200mhz kit. It should be more then enough.

a little bit.

current sweetspot between cost and performance is a 3000mhz cl15/cl16 kit.

just remember to run pairs of sticks.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MGPH9R9/?tag=pcp0f-21 So this would be good? I read elsewhere that https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XFT7DF9/?tag=pcp0f-21 would be a good choice but it is just so much more expensive

pick whichever kit you want from here.

kits worth noting

they are cheap and have slightly better specs than the cheapest 3000mhz kits. otherwise you can just pick whatever you want. its more about looks than actual performance.
