Under $2000 Budget + Monitor

Hello, i've been mustering up the cash, and managed to save up enough money to buy a pc of high caliber. I will be upgrading from my old crummy laptop, so anything will do. I made a rough draft as to what I want to buy and build. I have included a monitor in it, because I will be needing one of those as well. If you can find something of a similar spec thats better, please do tell. With this PC I have tried to keep a flashy, yet powerful aspect to it, so yes I want rgb on my PC, as well as the dark side panel because I only want to see the lighting from the components, and not the pcb.

You can cool the 2700 with a X52.

as since today we know more about zen 2, I would wait till start of July as 7th of July zen 2 cpu’s Will start shipping out.

june 10th we will know the complete product stack of the zen 2 CPU’s line up.

either you can opt for those cpu’s Or get a zen+ cpu as prices will be dropping once zen 2 is released. @NotMrTaco

Get a good aircooler instead...

Also just wait for Ryzen 3k. They launch in a month afaik.

Get a good 650 watt PSU instead. RMx 650 from corsair is good.

Bequiet pure power 11 600 watt is good.

Do you think it would be better to wait for the new 3000 series cpus? As well as the m.2 ssds that support pcie 4.0? If i'm waiting that long, I might as well get a navi card right?

I plan on overclocking, even though I know I won't be able to get much out of the cpu or graphics card, which is why I went with the higher power psu. Should I still plan on getting a 650 watt, even if my plans involve more power draw?

zen2 chips will hit the market around next month, so yeah, kinda worth it

4.0 ssds are unnecessary, and quite expensive rn, I'd just get a good 3.0

Nothing in your build points to a lot of powerdraw. 650 watts is more than enough
