Ryzen 3700X Cinebench R20 score from Computex?

I couldn't see it well enough in the live stream so I am hoping someone there took a picture of the score after the run.  Has anyone found a picture of the score?

I just found one, but it is also too blurry to make out the score.  It's from Anandtech.

I just really wanted to know so I could troll the guys in the Cinebench score thread by posting a screenshot without CPU-Z opened.

I got a video from someone sitting in the front row filming with their phone, on that it was more readable.

The most anticipated announcement was left for the last and that was the AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen Processor family. Built on a 7nm TSMC process node, the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X is an 8-core/16-threaded processor which will still use the AM4 socket but will need the latest X570 platform to make the most of it. That’s not saying that you can’t use the new 3rd Gen Ryzen with the older X370 or X470 platforms. Compared to the Intel Core i7-9700K, the Ryzen 7 3700X was shown to be better by a significant lead. The 3700X scored 4806 points in Cinebench R20 MT run whereas the 9700K did 3276 points. However, this isn’t the top of the line SKU in the mainstream lineup. The 3700X was followed by the Ryzen 7 3800X which has a base clock of 3.9 GHz and a boost clock of 4.5 GHz and is a 105W TDP processor whereas the 3700X was a 65W TDP processor. The 3800X was shown to have a lead of at least 11% and going all the way up to 34% lead in gaming performance when compared to the older gen Ryzen 7 2700X.

At 4.2GHz my 2700X scores 4350  

 

That 3700X does look like it could be some fun.

Did they ever say if they disabled SMT on the 3700x? If not, it was an 8c/8t part against 8c/16t part.

You can count the squares to determine the threads being used so you can see that they didn't disable SMT.  I was bothered by the comparison as well.  Especially since they had an image that stated it was a "multi-threaded" test.  And I'm sure people will argue what multi-threaded means, but to me it doesn't mean a thread per core.

It was 8c 8c vs 8c 16t.

The 9900k gets 4914 on stock clocks.

Which is why I mentioned the speed WITH the score. Smart a** lol.  

 

From what I've seen -- Intel 9900K CPUs score about 1000 points per 1GHz with hyperthreading in Cinebench R20.  Using quick back-of-the-envelope math.

will be interesting though to see how it goes once the Speculative attacks fully get patched and fixed on how scaled back Intel gets.

I just tested on my 9900k at 5Ghz and 5.2Ghz for comparison. 

 

And heres at my highest stable OC running 5.2ghz scoring 5510. Typically bump down to 5ghz daily because i don't see any difference while gaming and temps are better.

I am impressed with that score.  Hopefully, the next gen of Zen2+ CPUs will get us closer to 5GHz.  

 

I'm assuming the demo was running around 4.1GHz and maybe 4.2GHz so that 4806 is also impressive.

I definitely agree. Curious to see what these babies can do with some overclocking. The price point alone justifies the performance over the competition in every way.

I can't tell if the 65W TDP is a promising sign for overclocking or not.  I believe folks do well overclocking the 2700 (which is also 65W TDP) close or past its boost speed so if the 3700X can do that too then that'd be great.

That's not too crazy, my 8700k scores 4003 and it's only a 6 core.
