How does 1080p look on a 1440p monitor?

Title says it all.

 

Also, does it matter which monitor I choose? I am going with the PG279Q

 

Can you also stream on 1080p?

1080p on a 1440p monitor looks decent, but not as good as on a native 1080p monitor. Also, what do you mean by streaming at 1080p? As in, on Twitch and the like? As long as your PC is powerful enough, the monitor won't make a difference.

1080p looks fine on 1440p. if you play game on 1440p and stream on 1080p. then your processor will process it and broadcast in 1080p. so, no problem as long as your cpu is powerful enough
