DDR4 upgrades

Hello, a little bit of an explanation: So I have a ddr3 system with an AMD FX 6300, pared with 24gb of ram clocked at 1333 mhz. Currently I want to upgrade to ddr4 because my CPU has been lacking in my performance needs compared to my GPU (gtx 970) I have a list of the things I think will be a good upgrade, though I am not to good with pc parts. Is my list good? Can there be any cheaper options? If there are please, tell what I can replace. I don't want to upgrade to another am3+ cpu due to the lack of performance boost. And I have a budget of around $150

List of components:

CPU: https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-3-2200g/p/N82E16819113481

RAM: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-vengeance-lpx-8gb-2-4ghz-pc4-19200-ddr4-dimm-unbuffered-non-ecc-desktop-memory-black/6256218.p?skuId=6256218

Is this a good list? Or is there anything better? Edit: This PC is for gaming primarily, with the occasional rendering of a video.

That motherboard is not compatible with your CPU. You will need to get a board that is socket AM4 and a B450 board is what you will want to get. The CPU and Memory will work well together though.
