Run a check disk on the drives. Seems like it potentially could be going bad, or just needs to correct bad sectors.

I have expressed myself incorrectly, spikes are happening when im loading something or download something and save it on that drive, im not an expert but i think it shouldn't use 100% for a simple task like this

Download some free backup software do a backup and fly by the seat of your pants, or as those WD5000AAKX-001CA 500GB drives are not that expensive so throw some coin at a new one and use the old one as a storage drive.

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves (Abraham Lincoln,1808-1865; 16th US president).

It will spike to 100% when downloading and installing.. its mechanical.. it can only do 1 task, it can either read.. or write.. not both so when its writing, its going to be at 100% usage.

Almost all of those 3rd party software for doing scans and disk checks are more or less fraudulent and don't actually tell the truth and are bloat to try and get you to buy more into there software. I personally wouldn't put any credibility into them myself.
