Help me to pick a 4K monitor.

Hello I want to pick a 4k monitor for my second monitor and googling for a good monitor was not successful.

I want this monitor for designing so I really want it to have good color accuracy also I want to get a good gpu (either rtx 2080 or 2080 ti) and I want to game on it too so at least it has to support freesync too.

My budget is 500 USD I can go a little higher too but I prefer to not spend a lot.

So in the end an IPS monitor with freesync and it would be great if it would be 10bit too.

Just because you buy a 16:9 4k monitor doesn't mean you have to game at that insane resolution that even brings down the 2080TI to it's knees.  4k @ 60fps or 1440p with all nv panel settings turned on and to max and all AA methods will remove the jaggies and you will get triple digits frame rates in AAA titles.  Grab a 4k monitor but game at 1440p.  What is your preference in size because 4k and 27" don't mix very well you can't see sh*T.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4505 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1911 @ 9CL & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

AOC 40" 4k Curved / Samsung 40" 4k TV 120 MR / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus m.2 Card

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G910 & G700s & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk By BandLab / NF-A14 Intake / NF-P12 Exhaust

Well I have a 1440p 144hz monitor for gaming but some games like tomb raider or witcher 3 are games with great graphics so I want to experience them on highest setting in 4k to enjoy sightseeing in there.

So a 4k monitor with great color accuracy for work that I can also game on it.

Well then if you can make it your default monitor for desktop then go with a IPS.  How many inches do you want ?  Also can you suffice with 60hz since you wont really be gaming on it and just sight seeing with Tomb Raider and what not.

32 if possible if not I'm happy with 27 but nothing lower than that.

The important part is I really want accurate colors.

Your choices are limited with 32" plus IPS plus 4k.  This is the best 4k IPS monitor out right now IMO.  If you want color accuracy this will give it and then some.

BenQ 32" 4k IPS

I myself use LG 27UD58-B, which is a 250$ monitor. It is 4k, IPS, 10bit(8bit+frc), 250cd/m2, factory calibrated, 100% srgb, 75% adobe rgb. It is a little dim at max brightness, but reviews are good.

But i got a good unit with no BLB and good uniformity. Because it is a budget monitor, quality can vary.

Spoiler

What about those 2:

ViewSonic XG3220 and BenQ EW3270U

These are both VA not IPS; idk how big the difference is nowadays, but usually VA has worse viewing angles.

Out of these 2 i would go for viewsonic,

but viewsonic has also some good cheaper 4k IPS 10bit monitors, so i would look into those.

Good find.  Well he wants 32" and there is a big difference in price going from 27" IPS 4k to 32" IPS 4k.  If you can settle for 28" then you can get a steal of a deal.
