RTX 2060 recommendation for future gaming at 2560x1080?

frozensun

So I plan to purchase RTX 2060 but I'm  low on budget.

I wanted RTX 2060 strix OC,but here it's really overpriced.

Here are the models I can get,so which one would you recommend me.

I need stable,good card,with quality cooling,not concerned about RGB.

Higher boost clock is okay, and desirable.

I plan to game at 2560x1080 on 60 Hz maybe in the future at 2k 144Hz.

Here are the cards:

https://iponcomp.com/kereses/shop?keyword=rtx+2060

Btw,would it be some issues regarding 60Hz monitor, and if I can resolve that by enabling V-sync in games?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

For me the Asus is the best, i was on budget also and got the MSI(i took an MSI mobo also), never had MSI before.

MSI has become quite good and competitive.

I play with Vsync since the beginning of time :)

Overpriced both cards here,if you meant on gaming X/Z and strix.

I mentioned I'm low on budget.

Seems like I could go with lower priced model like 1660TI,and the difference is not that much in fps:

So the option can be 1660Ti,too if there is no much difference in gameplay between these 2 models.

Then don't get one.

Or look for a VEGA56 Card as well.

That's about the level of the 2060. And in some regions much cheaper.

Don't want Vega, too hot,too big power consumption.AMD cards sucks because I have one in my system.

And they become cheaper and cheaper lust like RX.

they have good cooled models that don't get hot

power consumption isn't too bad

that's estimating on something that has nothing to do with it

then you can only afford the 4 cheapest RTX 2060 listed right?

Filter out single fan mITX cards, It's Colorful versus Palit. I think Palit's the bigger brand? Then get its Gaming Pro model.

Get yourself a 2060 armour from MSI. Should be quite cheaper. Strixx  is way overpriced just for the name I find.

you could also look for a 1660Ti or wait till Monday coming (computex). Rumours are that AMD will be launching 2 Navi cards competing with 2060-2070 level cards.

Screw AMD cards,don't want them.

Guys forget about AMD Vega,I'm on NVidia this time.

So what do you think about buying new card without warranty, this model:

https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-RTX2060-A6G-GAMING/specifications/

I could get it for 370 euros (no waranty).

I know it's a lottery but with warranty it's overpriced.

I'm just looking at 1660Ti and RTX 2060 comparision, seems like not much of a difference.

BUt a dude from other forum told me go for MSI because Gaming X/Z have dual ball bearing fans better then Asus and better caps, japanese ones.

So I'm so confused now.

Is Torxx 3.0 so good?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

like that would mather... both have good fans, it's cooling solution which is way more important, and right now you're thinking way too far out of your budget

Of course the cooling matters.

If MSI really has DBB fans like said and better capacitors I'd go for MSI but that is probably for only Gaming X/Z models which are overpriced here.

But Asus is more beautiful to me.

What do you think about this model:

https://iponcomp.hr/shop/termek/msi-geforce-rtx-2060-6gb-gddr6-ventus-xs-oc-pcie/1707161

The pricing is okay for me although don't know how good cooling is,and the quality of the card.

So just 12 % improvement with RTX 2060 in games, but price difference is huge.

So I think I'm leaning towards 1660 TI possibly this model:

https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1660-Ti-GAMING-X-6G

So what you guys think maybe I should really go for 1660 Ti for 2560x1080 gaming?

Don't want Vega, too hot,too big power consumption.AMD cards sucks because I have one in my system.

What do you have in your System?!

Besides that:
A Sapphire Nitro+ is neither hot, fits in my RVZ01 (after some slight mod), is rather quiet...

But you know:

And they become cheaper and cheaper lust like RX.

They already are and there might be something on the other side soon(tm) as well, that might force prices a bit down.

Yes, because people think like that:

Screw AMD cards,don't want them.

Guys forget about AMD Vega,I'm on NVidia this time.

With that Mindset, nVidia can do whatever, people will buy their products.
Even if they crash once you open the Inventory in some open World games.

Screw AMD cards, they drive too much power, too hot,and and performance is around RTX 2060,besides google on yt rtx 2060 beats Vega.

And the most important prices drop,so you can't sell amd card in future above 50 % you got it in $.

And they are really boring, sapphire cards especially no aesthetic,it's just boring card.

You are at a wrong place.mate I really want nVidia this time, for first time, since I had previously amd cards because they were cheaper.

So I can't decide between these 3 models:

https://iponcomp.hr/shop/termek/msi-geforce-gtx-1660-ti-6gb-gddr6-gaming-x-pcie/1716164

Never heard about Colorful I googled but nothing so far,so I'm interesting in buying it and testing.

I see it's Chinese, but card doesn't look bad at all.

Any help?

Asus and MSI too expensive here...
