I've only ever heard people say "M dot two". So I just assumed that was the correct way.

This. I've actually yet to hear anyone say something else that isn't "M dot 2"

The weird ones I hear are usually those who confuse M.2 = NVMe, so they call it NVMe instead

I did heat about calling it M2, since that's the name used in user's manual when it comes to pointing out locations of everything (M2_1 for example)

M - DOT - TWO

Or M - PUNT - TWEE, because I often say it in Dutch too :P

Äm-kaks probably. Though I think I called it Äm-kakkos- when asking my brother about what adapter he needs for SSD. Äm is pronounced like "am" in "I am". "kaks" is like sax, but with hard k.

EM DOT TWO

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

I say m dot two and I HATE IT.

There is no reason to say it that way (well, there is the dot but also you really dont have to say it), but every techtuber says it like that so it just became burned into my brain.

But nothing bothers me more than the way Riley says OLED.

Also, why people say LED as "el ay dee" and not just led? But when saying OLED they do say oled instead of "o el ay dee"? Mysteries of humanity.

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.

I pronounce it "Me Two".  People don't like it when I change them from a SATA HD to M.2 NVMe and call it their #MeToo moment.

There's no official way of pronouncing it. As long as you're not completely off the mark, I don't think it really matters.

I think it depends on a combination of what what rolls off the tongue easier, the context, and what makes it less confusing. Like nobody pronounces "USA" as "yoo-sa" or "ooh-sa" (I'm sure the separate letter pronunciation is official). But when I hear "USAF" (US Air Force), it's always "yoo-saf". But then again if you say the letters fast enough it almost sounds like it anyway.
