Has Logitech already fixed that frequent issue with G403/G603/G703 scroll wheels?

Automobili3XF

I'm shopping for a new mouse currently and one of my favorites is the Logitech G603 since it pairs up perfectly with my G613 keyboard, thing is, last year they ran a little poll on a local peripherals focused group just to see how many people had scroll wheel issues with G403 based mice and on that group alone there were more than 300 users with issues on their scroll wheels, some even had their mice replaced 3 or 4 times by the warranty.

This is about the only thing that holds me back from buying one, does anybody know if they managed to fix this issue since then?

For the G403, it was probably the first batch of G403's that had problems with the Scroll wheel. I had my G403 since August of 2017 and never had any problems with it, the only problems I have with it that came up recently is the Sidegrips fading away due to heavy use or sweat. However, the scrollwheel did recently begin to bug out, a few weeks ago. Probably because it's aging, although I have no idea about the G603/G703.

I do highly recommend the mouse, it has served me well for almost 2 years.
