it's just complaining about it being too slow. what is the power supply's rated wattage and does it come with extra unused connectors?

"What's under the heatsink?" ep1, "Why it's not as good as it seem?" AMD fanboy edition out, episode 2 "Why my gaming board is a scam?" Intel fanboy edition coming soon (this is a link)

all im asking is what graphics card do i need to run vr smoothly

User above literally suggested a video card: a Radeon 570 or 580, although we need to know what CPU you're running too.

Desktop: i7-4790k Build - ALMOST COMPLETE Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Bell Unlimited National Calling & Texting + 10GB Data
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: HP Touchpad (Android) | ASUS ME302C
Camera: Canon SX280 + Rebel T1i (500D) | Sony HDR-AS50R | Panasonic DMC-TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

That's a CPU. You're looking for a GPU (graphics card). As noted above the Radeon RX 580 is a good bet for VR. Alternatively an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti for a little more.

BUT, in order to ensure that these graphics cards are compatible with your system, we need to know what power supply you have (the model number, not the wattage and efficiency rating). Or if you can tell us if that power supply has a free 6-pin connector.

That's what you HAVE. I'm telling you what you can GET. But I also need to know what power supply you have. We basically need to see if the new GPU can get power from it via a 6-pin connector. If it does not have one, then your options will be very limited.
