Advice for Midtower with Fans+filters+decentprice

Fortknox77

Hi guys,

im looking for a case for someone in my family (mother's boyfriend) and im trying to search for:

Mid tower

Fans included

Filter (All or important ones, he hates dust)

at a decent price .. like 70-140$ CAD

He's using an old I7 4770K + R9 280X in an old Antec case with NO airflow for shit. only 1 fan in the back and no opening for more fans.

and since he added the R9 280x its just too much for his case. I logged his temp with cupid and its bad. The CPU kept overheating.. turned off Asus multi core enhancement for now to give a break to his cpu and told him to open the panel until he gets a new case.

Personnaly I found the following at a really good price and I want to know what you guys think and if you guys knows something way better in the range of price I said.

Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-DELTA RGB Tempered Glass

Thanks already!

Isnt the case with the whole front being covered by dust in no time? I mean the whole mesh thing.

But there is a dust filter... and on the top too.

And no, I don’t notice it really. I clean my PC usually once a month or once every quarter anyway (got one of those electric leaf blowers for PC’s haha)

and as @LukeSavenije mentioned, a quick brush on the front and it’s gone. Just clean the filter quarterly and all

is good in the hood

This is the one I have and it's awesome.

Not knowing this Gentleman taste I'd probably stick with a Define C which comes with two fans, a clean looking exterior and good enough airflow for a 4770k and an R9 280x, but then Enthoo Pro M T and NR600 are good sorta minimalist options with good airflow as well.

It's not a vacuum; it's a powerful blower and is well worth the price. It will pay for itself since you will not hav to keep buying caans of canned "air" (actually, compressed gas).

That dust indicates there is good airflow into the case and that the filters are probably doing their job well.
