Which is better for I5-9600K

DimaDSer

Hi, what GPU is better to use with I5-9600K, RTX2060 or RTX2070 ?

I mainly game on 1080p but I'm still with my old GTX960 so I decided that I should upgrade the GPU...

I know that the RTX2070 is better but I don't want to bottelneck the cpu and vice versa...

At 1080p get the rtx2060 and call it a day. The 2070 is bad price to performance wise unless you get one hell of a discount on the 2070.

No cpu mobo or ram atm

2060 is the perfect card for 1080p/144hz if you don't wanna go amd.

no, if you are gonna pay extras, just go up to the base 2070 etc etc, and 2070 is terrible value.

Personally I wouldn’t. You’re coming close to the pricing in the 2070 and at that point might as well get one.

but as you are aiming at 1080p a 2060 is a better fit. Just get a base model without paying like €80 premium for some RGb and branding

Look, Gigabyte is the cheapest but I don't like their products, I was thinking that if not the asus ROG Strix than what about the Asus Rog Turbo ? The MSI Ventus XS is more expensive than the Turbo and and the MSI Gaming Z is more expensive Z...

Also I really like the looks of the Turbo but my concern is the temperatures he'll get becuase of the blower style design...

Gigabyte is great, I had a G1 Gaming 960 for years and it was a great card. Just grab the cheapest 2-fan design unless you're doing some serious overclocking.

Hi, I really appreciate you response but as I said, I don't like Gigabyte products and their GPU's is the cheapest ones here and I'm that kins of person who can buy something he don't like but will regret it after few days so I really prefer to buy something I do like from a brand I do like and my current 2 options are Asus Rog Strix RTX2060 and Asus Rog Turbo RTX2060..

I could buy and MSI card but the Ventus is more expensive than the Turbo and the Gaming Z is more expensive than the ROG Strix.... so I have only 2 options as there no other cards from other manufacturers...
