Recommended 1440p 144hz display

I'm searching for a 27"-32" 1440p 144hz monitor. I will mostly be gaming on it and will be using a dual monitor stand (so it must have the ability to be mounted). I've narrowed down to 3 ( msi Optix MAG27CQ 27", LG 32GK650F-B 32" and VIOTEK GN27DW 27-Inch )choices but if anyone has others the recommend I would appreciate it.

I have a Benq zowie xl2730 its great. Also gsync compatible. If you play with the settings a bit you can get great color accuracy on it as well

I personally use asus rog swift PG279Q - 27", IPS panel, 165hz, gsync, 1440p - yea it's a bit expensive due to the gsync module and the ASUS brand tax.. but it sure is worth it if you ask me...

I'm looking in the $350 price range. For the $500-$600 I would expect 4k.

You won't really find anything worth buying in that price range with those specs.

 

Best to raise the budget some so you can get into a good quality monitor.

 

Out of all the pc parts the Monitor and the case are actually investments as they will last for a VERY long time so it's best to get a good one. Especially the monitor as it's what you will be looking at and could be looking at for 10 to 15 years.

Same one I have, it's excellent and well worth the money IMO.

 

One of if not the best 27" 1440P 144Hz (165Hz) IPS monitors on the market today.

I have two XF270HU monitors haven't had any issues they are 1440p 144hz, IPS and can be had at $350 or sometimes less.

 

I wouldn't touch a TN panel if you paid me.

If you could drop down to a 24 inch, the Dell S2417DG with G-Sync is supposed to be good.

I own the big brother of this (S2716DG), I've been quite happy with it. It's been shifted to my secondary monitor since i picked up an AD27QD, which I will admit that I like far better.
But it is worth noting (for the Dell):
It's a TN panel, some people take great issue with this. From a gaming standpoint, I see nothing wrong with TN personally.
It's a panel that's known to have color banding issues. It's very obvious in some situations, others, it's not a bother. It was particularly bad with a skin I used for steam some time back (unfortunately, I don't remember the skin), very hard, rigid, abrupt gradients. In game, dark spaces had some of the same issues, which in a few instances made for some less-than-ideal RPG immersion.

For gaming you are correct, there is nothing wrong with the TN panels.

 

The issue is when one isn't gaming the TN panels don't have all that great color reproduction compared to the IPS screens. I am not gaming like 90% of the time so.....

 

I have both TN and IPS gaming monitors, both 27" 1440P 165Hz and G-SYNC.

 

There is absolutely a noticeable difference between them as far as color goes, for gaming however there isn't any at all as far as performance goes.

Aren't VA panels the middle ground, sounds like they might be the way to go.

Not really, no, the image quality normally isn't all that great, can be blurry. 

 

In gaming they normally aren't all that great compared to either the TN or IPS, in short they for the most part suck for gaming monitors.

 

Like I said a Monitor is an investment, it will last much longer than any other part of the PC and you will be using it for a VERY LONG TIME. Something like I said before 10 to 15 years or more depending. If you don't get a good one you will be kicking yourself for a very long time.....

 

As far as GOOD monitors go here is an excellent one here, TN panel.
