Windows 10 Speaker Format Settings

Hi all,

 

Ive got a sennheiser GSX1000 DAC and i use Sennheiser game one headset. The problem im having from time to time is that the sound format keeps switching back to default (stereo)  from 7.1 surround which i set it to. This happens most of the time but not always after i restart PC and i have to go into sound settings select speaker type, then select adavance and switch to 16 bit dvd quality. Then go back and configure speaker setup to 7.1. And then it will stay like that until i restart PC and like i say most of the time its goes back to its default setting which is stereo speakers and 24 bit studio quality. Aint no big deal but its annoying. Is there any ideas you could recommend so i dont have to do this most of the time. Once its setup its done  or until i chnage it otherwise.
