I second this, I would personally throw in a 4tb hard drive for redundancy and bulk files.

Yeah get a hard drive, maybe 6tb actually for 3d renders.

I have no cooler btw i going to get it from ekwb

ftfy

mobo was much worse, ram was overpriced, ssd was wildly overkill, case can be done cheaper and better and the g3 has ocp issues, so especially with a 2080 ti and a 9900k i wouldn't recommend it

My bad. I wasn't aware of that.

Dude, are you two years old? Learn to grow up, this isn't a competition.

We used the same CPU. The Aorus Master is slightly better than the Aorus Ultra, not by much though. 3200 MHz CL16 RGB RAM is better than "normal" 3000 MHz CL16 RAM. The 970 PRO is way faster than the SX6000 (Source). We (basically) used the same video card.

The only component in your build that's better is the PSU. But realisticly, both PSUs are excellent and it won't make any meaningful difference to the OP if he/she goes with a HX750i instead of a RMx 750W since both PSUs can go fanless (IIRC). But if the HXi unit is the same price as the RMx unit, then sure, the OP should definitely go with the HX750i.

So no, you didn't beat me. You just want to believe that you did.

mostly in heatsink and pcb design, but okay

but for that price i can literally get sammie B

userbenchmark overrates it... i won't disagree that it's faster, but that's only if you can even utilize it. and with it being 2.5 times the cost... I'll pass

Dropped your price, better MOBO and PSU. No need to overspend on 1TB overpriced NVMe storage, and the case.

2x16GB RAM gives you the ability to grab another 32 later. (Idk why you'd need to... But hey!)

For the same price grab the 1TB 970 Evo Plus instead of the 970 Evo. And yes, you will want to stick with these more expensive drives for the improved durability being that you will be doing rendering and editing. Plus workloads like that are where you'll actually see the benefit of the extra speed the Evo delivers.
