RGB not Turning on + Weird Cable With no way to Plug Into Mobo

Hi, 

I'm currently building my first pc and I've encountered another hitch (sorry) and need help. I have two problems:

First, I have a cable that came with the case that won't plug in, as I can't find a header on the mobo for it.

Second, the RGB doesn't turn on when I power on the case, even though the manual says it should. I have an overkill PSU (Total power draw is something like 231w on pcpartpicker, and I have an 80+ bronze certified 450w PSU), and I've tried rewiring the pc, to no avail.

Below is a picture of the weird cable, and the motherboard (hopefully you guys can see something I missed)

And this is a picture of the front of the case (it's supposed to have a really cool infinity effect)

I have a raidmax galaxy case, and from what I've seen it isn't a really popular case, so I've so far been unsuccessful in finding help from videos or articles.

Edit:The motherboard is an ASRock b450 Pro4 

Specs of the system:

Ryzen 3 2200G (w/ stock cooler)

1x8gb G-Skill Aegis DDR4-3000

Corsair CX 450M PSU

(Not installed yet)

120gb Inland SSD

1tb 7200rpm Seagate Barracuda HDD

This cable is not for your motherboard. Its a molex cable that connects directly into your power supply. Check if you have molex cable included with your PSU, you must have one.

 

It powers your  case RGB btw.

I'm going to need you to post a finished pic of your build, after cable management, and showing the front all lighted up...  No one ever does after a problem is solved

@jstudrawa Here are the pics you wanted!

I'll show you the interior soon, but I've still gotta whip out those ties and fix the cables.

Also, sorry to disappoint, but it's an APU build without a graphics card so the interior won't look nearly as cool

Nice looking case!  

 

No worries on not having a GPU.  Many don't, can look cleaner without actually.

Thanks! My next build might have a GPU, but I'm going to be selling this computer, sadly. Until then, I'm just gonna have to sit here with my old dual core i3 2330m and 4gb ddr3

Ryzen APU is all you need really, don't sweat the dedicated GPU route.  I'm interested to see how the next gen Ryzen APUs perform as well.

 

You've got a great case to start with at least.

Thanks! I kind of want to pursue the GPU route though, as I want to gain as much experience as I can before I pass high school (I'm in 8th grade atm)
