The lines or the error? How old is the system? Is it on a hard drive? What were you doing before this happened?

Just seems like a faulty boot device too me.

 

do you have multiple drives in your pc or just the one?

Your windows must be installed on the HDD you removed I guess

Did you install Windows when both of the drives were connected? If so, Windows has created bootfiles to both drives. Removing one will cause this. There are plenty of guides on how to "fix" this, but for me only repair install worked.

Try to fix boot first using installer - it should add missing partitions if there is place for them. If not - then install.

Try everything else first. Then, if those methods aren't working, do repair install. If that fails, do new install and save original files (thats what I ended up doing after 3 hours of troubleshooting).
