I have no idea where or what this header does (refer to picture below). Its labelled main. SORRY if its stupid. im pretty new

The bottom one is USB 3.0, the top I am pretty sure is a fan cable

top cable has a phanteks RGB connector from the looks of it, no way is that a fan cable,

top cable wither gets plugged into another phanteks RGB cable if you have more to plug in, or to one of their rgb 5050 adaptor cables.

The Blue cable is for usb and it provides a faster speed as it connects to a special faster port...

the first image looks like a mail and female fan headers judging by the 4 metal pint ( by the way  when a fan has 4 pins it means that its fan curve can be controlled by the user in bios or elsewhere. Thats important cause a lot of fans come with just 3 pins. 3 pins meaning the fan curve only be controlled by give it more electricity to bust up the speed of it and it will stay like that at all times. 4 pins is ideal.... you can controll the speed  is what I am saying ...

All new boards have a DC mode, you can adjust a curve as well as PWM

yea but as I remember you cant control 3 pin fans in a software. Is that correct ?

Ye, you can, FanExpert, MSI  dragon center do it very well, those i have use,

good to know, I have like 3 fans that I cant control so Ill have to look in to that

It's not a fan connector. It has different keying on the plastic surround- I assume so you don't do something silly like try to plug your 3-4 pin fans into it. 

It's an RGB connector as already advised by Herman

You can control 3 pin fans. The difference is that 3 pin fans you control the voltage, where 4 pin (PWM) fans you control the pulses

Well the answer then is yes, you can control 3 pin fans via Software as long as the motherboard supports sending variable voltage to the fan header which is every board ive ever used in the last 10 years basically.

what I was trying to say is that they differ from 4 pin and they are not controlled the same way. I have tried setting a curve for my 3 pin fans and, from the research I have done I was told you cant you can only set voltage up and down. That is the point I was trying to make :)
