System crash in games and other weird problems

I have a FX8350 system with Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard. I used to have a RX 480 card but upgraded to a Vega64 a few days ago.

Almost immediately after the upgrade, I started to run into random crashes. It would happen mostly when putting load on the GPU such as in games. The more the load, the more the chance of crash.

I should also mention that my PC refuses to stay shut down. It powers itself on again immediately after a shutdown an I have to power off the PSU to get it to stay powered off.

And, the onboard ethernet port has long been destroyed by a thunder strike on my DSL line. I have no idea how my PC is running after that.

My PSU is XFX TS750. Pretty old.

My question is, is the random crashes related to the motherboard and should I replace it?

First off did you uninstall the old drivers with DDU and install new ones after upgrading?

Also what kind of PSU are you using? Vega 64 can be quite hungry when it comes to power.

No OC. Sometimes use Auto Undervolt in Radeon WattMan. Balanced mode.

Tried to play on low power mode and had no crashes.

Really is a PSU thing it seems.

I had to look for the box but, it's a XFX TS750 not a Corsair.
