3800X 16 cores, 3.9 base. 4.7 Turbo.

3700X 12 Cores 4.2 base. 5.0 Turbo. 105 Watts.

3600X 8 cores 4.0 base, 4.8 Turbo

 

It will be very very interesting if these ones actually pan out.

Those are the exact same numbers as in AdoredTVs leak, probably just copied from there.

The real question is if these will be priced properly?

Which is noted as a possibility in the video and the reason that there is a may in the thread title. Or the leak was correct and this is a different source.

The weird part is this like the like 3rd online retailer to use AdoredTV's numbers. Which actually furthers the provenance of his leaks, though minor details were always subject to change near the end. But, we'll be getting more of these soon, as we know AMD will be talking about Ryzen 3rd Gen at Computex in just a few weeks.

 

The one weird thing is going to be the APUs. It looks like AMD has pushed back "Renoir"-based ones to later and the launch cycle will have "Picasso"-based Zen+ APUs to fill out the bottom of the stack. It also looks like Renoir will have Vega graphics, at least from the driver leaks. (Though the parts that Intel bought from AMD were called Vega M, but it was almost all a Polaris design. So, they might call them "Navi" graphics, but it's mostly just Vega. Which is great in an iGPU setting, btw.)

3700x is interesting. I wonder if its just a out of the box power draw preference that keeps the full 16 cores stock clocks 300 mhz lower. And that end user OC's will rival the 3700x. ?

Let me just stop you right there and say that the hype train/rumor mill doesn't do shit for the product especially when they talk about a 5GHz boost clock. They claimed the same thing with the Ryzen 2000 series and look where that got us...a 4.2GHz boost speed. I know it's tempting to get all worked up about these "rumors" but how about we take a step back and hope for like a 4.5GHz boost speed and a 10-15% IPC increase? Can we at least try to be realistic? All you're doing is setting yourselves up for disappointment...

I never ever heard anyone saying the Ryzen 2000 is going to be 5GHz and I was following the rumours closely at the time. We were in the impression that Zen+ was just an incremental upgrade with improved latency and memory compatibility, the official AMD roadmap showed this after Zen launched, there wasn't really any hype for Ryzen 2000, it was like AMD's Skylake -> Kabylake.

Remember that retailers often list products that aren't confirmed yet using speculative info as a speculative thing. Remember how Metroid Prime Trilogy was listed for the Switch by a Swedish retailer before not happening and then Persona 5 was listed for the Switch by Best Buy before a musou spinoff for the Switch happened?

 

Retailers are not a confirmation that it's happening.

I call BS on this. Retailers are not reliable sources of component specs, even more so when the product in question hasn't even been released yet.

The retailer also uses the same data as AdoredTV, which makes me even more sceptical of the accuracy of the information.

AdoredTV is a huge AMD fanboy and honestly I don't trust him with any leaks/rumours/specifications.

From his videos you can tell he is extremely biased towards AMD and that's reason enough to make me question the reliability/accuracy of his information.

 

On another note, please don't think that Ryzen 3000 will be the be-all and end-all of CPUs, all you're doing is setting yourselves up for disappointment by expecting unrealistic performance/value.

Expect it to be like Ryzen 2000, just an incremental step up from the previous generation. That way you won't get disappointed if the rumours were wrong.
