super slow write speed on my ssd

I found this article that looks similar to your situation it looks Like

1) he made sure trim was enable then...

2) He ran "fsck -fy" in terminal to force trim.

so I was experiencing random slowdowns etc, so I decided to run a disk speed test, and I discovered this:

as you can see the read speed is fine, but the write speed is really slow.

the ssd is an Adata SU800 1TB, and it should be a lot faster than this. I don't know if this is a defect with my Mac or what, because I haven't lost any files or anything... when I did that test Spotify was downloading loads of music but my internet is only 100mbit max so nowhere near fast enough to bottleneck the write speed of the ssd.

the rest of the specs of my system are:

if anyone knows what this is or how to troubleshoot it let me know.

for complete transparency, this is a legit Mac, not a hackintosh.

thanks for this. I can't reboot my Mac rn but when I'm done with what I'm doing I'll try it.

I enabled trim using sudo trimforce enable and then I did the command in single user mode that the link you send gave me, and it's not perfect but a hell of a lot better.
