More Ryzen 3000 leaks - Clockspeeds, speculative pricing

More Ryzen 3000 leaks have emerged indicating that two of the CPU's will in fact boost up to 5GHz+ (Although I would still take it with a bit of salt as some errors are evident in the table):

With a quick summary of SPECULATIVE pricing, speeds and cores:

 

  • Ryzen 9 3850X: 16-cores, 32-threads, clocked at 4.3GHz to 5.1GHz, $499 - $560
  • Ryzen 9 3800X: 16-cores, 32-threads, clocked at 3.9GHz to 4.7GHz, $449 - $505
  • Ryzen 7 3700X: 12-cores, 24-threads, clocked at 4.2GHz to 5.0GHz, $329 - $370
  • Ryzen 7 3700: 12-cores, 24-threads, clocked at 3.8GHz to 4.6GHz, $299 - $340
  • Ryzen 5 3600X: 8-cores, 16-threads, clocked at 4.0GHz to 4.8GHz, $229 - $260
  • Ryzen 5 3600G: 8-cores, 16-threads, 12 GPU cores, clocked at 3.2GHz to 4.0GHz, $199 - $220
  • Ryzen 5 3600: 8-cores, 16-threads, clocked at 3.6GHz to 4.4GHz, $179 - $200
  • Ryzen 3 3300X: 6-cores,12 -threads, clocked at 3.5GHz to 4.3GHz, $129 - $145

im pretty certain this is just a writeup of a previous leak from quite a while ago? Seems awfully similar but Im too lazy to dig the original up rn

Wasn't there a leak that suggested it only has a 4.5Ghz boost? that's exactly what my expectations were but people were hyping it up too much

and besides, since there's a 10-15% IPC improvement, 4.5Ghz is compared to 5.1Ghz on Intel

If this were true the X SKUs would be worth buying instead of just a non x and a small overclock

No. It was a Chinese leak and translates to normal clock rate. Given that it was a 4 core testing part, it could be base clock, boost clock, or even a locked clock speed specific to the test CPU just meant to allow motherboard manufacturers to make sure that their motherboards work at the most basic level with full processors sent out later so they can make sure xfr and overclocking work.

Well, lets just all calm down, stop the hype and wait a couple of weeks.

 

Motherboard Manufacturers are preparing for Ryzen 3000, releasing "Compatibility Lists", at least MSI and ASUS Did.

Biostar spoilered that X570 will be released on Computex as well.

 

The rest is just not certain. Especially pricing is changed very quickly!
