Ram overclock

I have an R5 1600 and an Asrock b450 PRO 4 mobo. I had 2*4gb corsair vengence lpx 3200MHZ ram. My brother gifted me a single stick of corsair vengence lpx 3000mhz ram.I just got my PC and I want to overclock it, how should I go about doing this?

just write down what the overclock settings for the 3200mhz sticks, wipe your bios and install the new stick, then type what you wrote down back in.

If you are lazy like me you can just add the stick into the correct RAM slot and the computer should still boot absolutely fine. Its just all the sticks will run at 3000mhz. Saying that you wont notice a 200mhz difference so it would save all the hassle and stress of wiping your bios and having to type out all the timings etc. Not worth the hassle imo.
