The nvidia MX series were made so laptops could have cheap dedicated GPUs that were efficient. Neither the mx150 or 250 did tat. The laptops with the mx series cards were not gaming capable and were expensive. Now with the 1660ti and 1650 graphics card for laptops they are both powerful and cheap. The 1660ti is more powerful than the gtx 1070 yet you can get 1660ti laptops from $850 and far less for the 1650 laptops. With this the mx series cards do not need to exist. For those people who say they need the mx series cards for very light graphics work that intel's integrated gpus cant give I say buy a laptop with an AMD ryzen. The most powerful ryzen for laptops is the ryzen 7 3750h and you can get the laptops from around $800 up. AMD partners like asus and HP make well finished laptops with ryzen cpus.

MX150 does have a place for the pricepoint... at least here in Brazil machines running 1080p panels with an i5 8250U and MX150 makes for great value decent enough laptops...

No, I got my laptop for 450$(new that is). It is the Acer aspire 5 with an i5 7200u and an mx150, there was a 1TB hard drive, I just put a cheap120GB SSD in it and bam I can play overwatch at 1080p 60FPS on low-medium settings on it. I'll be using this until I get my PC.

The MX150 runs light titles fine at 1080p 60 FPS. Not sure why you think MX cards are not capable of gaming.

A lot of budget laptops have MX150 graphics, not sure why you think those are expensive.

I am refering to the mx150 laptops with at least 512 gb nvme ssd, 16gb ram and intel core i7 8565u not those ones with 128 gb ssd or 512 gb hard drive and 8gb ddr3 ram you guys are talking about.

When did MX150 laptops first come to the market? And when was the 1160 Ti released? It makes sense that there are still laptops on the market with MX150 graphics, and that people are buying them.

What you keep failing to understand here is that just because a product isn't FOR YOU it does not mean the product shouldn't exist altogether.

If that ROG Zephyr is a better option for your needs great, it does not mean it's the best option to everyone else, nor is that model even widely available outside US.
